Nadia Boulanger, Fugue 1908, pour quatuor à cordes
Fugue composed for the test competition for the Prix de Rome for musical composition in 1908, on a subject imposed by Théodore Dubois. Despite the very strict rules of the competition, Nadia Boulanger wrote this fugue for instrumental quartet and not for voice. She was nevertheless awarded the second Grand Prix de Rome. The work is published by the Palazzetto Bru Zane

Lili Boulanger, Les Sirènes, pour choeur et orchestre (poème de Charles Grandmougin)
Lili Boulanger composed this work in 1912 in preparation for the Prix de Rome. The version for choir and piano is published and often performed. However, the composer did not complete the orchestration.
So that this version of the work can be performed, Anthony Girard, composer, orchestrated the incomplete pages.

This work was supported by a CNLB scholarship awarded in 2009-2010.
